Follow the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi

True Indians are true nationals. Nothing could change their spirit of nationalism. Ayodhya verdict could not change their spirit of nationalism. True Indians should follow the foot steps Mahatma Gandhi and the voice of the great sage that tried to change the face of Physical India to Spiritual India. The politicians should therefore try to inherit the inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi and transmit the same to the people to retain the glorious Indian Heritage.

Protect Nature to protect our humanity.

The world from its very origin has started the mission of preserving nature as a part of spirituality where icons of nature have been consecrated as Gods and Goddesses; Sun, Moon, Earth, Sea, River, Mountain, Trees, Flora and fauna. The Bible itself has forbidden the first human being from plucking of fruits of a tree as it implies sin and on the violation of this divine command, God has expelled them from heaven. The great Indian poet and Rishi Valmeeki has also uttered the ever-adorable mantra-Manishadha at the hunter who tried to kill the love-making birds.  However, this spirit of preservation of nature has materially originated around 3rd century BC as a part of public administration. It was the King Devanampiya Tissa of Sri Lanka who spread this holy spirit of preserving nature by establishing the world’s first wild life sanctuary.  In India our forefathers has preached us not to destroy nature at any cost. Our beloved Mahatma Gandhi has proved his life nature-friendly unto his last. Jawahr Lal Nehru with his rose flower in the button hole also symbolizes his deep love to nature. But all our leaders after these personalities have become cruel to nature. All the rules and regulations formulated by the government are either to damage or to destroy our glorious robust nature. Forests deforested! Rivers Dammed! Hills and mountains uprooted! Green-rich areas Concreted! It is really the fate of holy nature. It is really the tragedy with our Humanity.

Guinness Record for sleepless 108 Hours.

At last Hemalatha is said to have qualified for Guinness record for she danced for more than 108 Hrs. continuously. But spectators say that Hemalatha has not danced Mohiniyattom properly. It is true that Hemalatha dressed with all paraphernalia of Mohiniyattom and did the venture at ease without observing the classic grammar of the dance form. She danced at snail’s pace and paid more attention and concentration on the stop watch and her long-cherished dream-Guinness Record. What is relevant here is that Hemalatha achieved her goal through sleepless 108 Hrs. Mohiniyattom has undoubtedly proved it as Mone-yattom through this ad-venture. Once again Satraps and Landlords disguised as sponsors exploit this glorious classical dance form for their self-marketing and snobbery. It is the fate with our art that the artists are performing the blessed art for personal material gains and to enhance their statuesque and snob. It is a shame for us all that art has become a show-piece for reality shows. If our renowned Malayalam poet Vallothol is alive today he would have certainly lament on the tragedy with our Mohiniyattom.

Mohiniyattom has become Money-attom.

Mohiniyattom has become Money-attom. Once again Satraps and Landlords disguised as sponsors exploit this glorious classical dance form for their self-marketing and snobbery. One renowned Mohiniyattom artist in Thrissur, Kerala is performing this divine art form for pleasing the said sponsors and also for gaining self-popularity as adventurous dancer.

Mohiniyattam is a dance form said to have originated in Kerala. It is closely related to Bharathanatyam of Tamil Nadu, which was originally called 'Dasiyattam'. Originated as the temple dance performed by Devadasis, it portrays feminine love in its myriad forms - carnal, devotional and maternal- with accent more on Lasya and Bhava. It somehow degenerated into eroticism to satisfy the Epicurean life of a few provincial satraps and landlords. There are two stories of the Lord Vishnu disguised as a Mohini. In one, he appears as Mohini to lure the asuras (demons) away from the amrita (nectar of immortality) obtained during the churning of the palazhi or Ocean of Milk.In the second story Vishnu appears as Mohini to save Lord Shiva from the demon Bhasmasura. The name Mohiniyattam may have been coined after Lord Vishnu, and the main theme of the dance is love and devotion to God, with usually Vishnu or Krishna being the hero. The renowned Malayalam poet Vallathol revived it and gave it a status in modern times through Kerala Kalamandalam which is presently doing its best for the development and popularity of Mohiniyattam.

Prime Minister should attend to CWG process.

It is so pathetic that the arrangements of the Common Wealth Games invites unpleasant criticism and controversy as the event is very nearby. With the collapse of an important foot-bridge at the CWG premises, the reliability and credibility of the criticism and controversies have been evidently proved. Why this sort of irresponsibilities reign in the most vital arena of Indian Sports World. The matter is ; this event is not a domestic event whereas the event is for all the sportsmen and athletes all over the world. So a slight deviation from the responsibilities will tarnish the reputation and prestige of the Nation. The Prime Minister of India should immediately attend to this grave issue and steps taken to rectify the ills and evils of the administration at the CWG site.

Let us celebrate the election carnival.

It is once again election time in Kerala. The political parties are once again awaked to refresh themselves from their long cozy and comfortable sleep with a rejuvenated determination to serve the people. The political parties are also staging different dramas ranging comedy to tragedies in the public theatre expecting the applause of the people. The people as usual are forced to forget everything so far and ready to entertain themselves and also to forgive those culprits and criminals harassed them both emotionally, economically and physically. Now they are on the anvil of decision making to decide upon the lesser criminal to exercise their vote. The party delegates and members are very busy now to participate in all domestic and non domestic functions around their locality. As the new entrant children to schools they are about to wear new shoes that suit their foot in terms of size, color, brand and market. Let us once again celebrate this mega colorful festival at the cost of democracy.

Honour the honourable Judiciary.

The Ayodhya issue is here for the last 125 years. The issue has been set aside dormant or balanced with the true and real secular spirit of Indian people for all these years. But recently or with the emergence of pseudo political spirit in India, our secular spirit has been contaminated by the political quacks and superstitions. The oneness of Indian national spirit has been terribly damaged with the onslaught of political terrorism of almost all parties. These terrorists have divided our spiritual community on the basis of caste, creed, color, religion, language, and on so many other material dimensions. This is the continuance of the “Divide and Rule “policy of the British Imperialists. The British wanted to divide our nation for establishing their supremacy over India but our political imperialists are dividing the nation for establishing their electorates. Judiciary itself has placed under the gun point of these political terrorists. The minimum requirement we expect from a community is to honour the honourable apex court of a nation. Let us pray to the mother Goddess of India to make our people honoured and honourable.

Indian Ministers for Moneycracy?

The salary of the Ministers has been increased @ 200% and it is calculated that a minister will get an average of Rs. 1.30 Lakhs per month. Even then the Ministers are not satisfied as their responsibility towards the nation of having a big population of 1,150,000,000 (1.15 billion) costs more and as they argue they have been undervalued. Considering the population of India, the Ministers claim has a little more logic and justifiability.  But the question is whether the Ministers need be salaried for their responsibilities towards nation or not. The basic grammar of democracy teaches us that they are people’s representative and meant for the service of the people and nation. If so the services are to be reciprocated with honorarium not with salary. The connotation of salary really implies a quantum of work or job that could be measured in scale and on the basis of such scale, a pay scale could be introduced considering the qualification, experience and performances. Are they willing to prove their qualification, experience and performances before raising their tall claims for salary? Even if they are willing to do so, will the current concept of democracy agree to such conceptual violation?

Guillotine reintroduced against Human Right Activists

Human right activism is growing up at an intelligent pace as per the requirement of the human rights violations staged all around the globe. Though Human Right Activism has been rightly supported by the Right to Information Act all over the world, the opponents cultured and nourished by the same government is either suppressing or sabotaging the real spirit of the Activism. The creator has now turned to be the destroyer of the concept. In India officially 25 activists have been so far finished up by those disinterested with the Human Right activism. Unofficial statistics may go up and up beyond our imagination. It has felt that the most crucial killer equipment Guillotine of the French Revolution has been reintroduced here to ease the finishing up activity against the Human right activism.

Malayalam and Music are murdered ?

Music – the language of Gods and Goddesses has bee metamorphosed to the slang of illiterates and snobs. The celebrities are killing not only music but also the blessed language of music.  Music has become something afar from music. It has become a blend of snob, action, sound and fury. Unfortunately the most affected victim is our glorious language Malayalam. Ms. Ranjini of the show has become a reincarnation of a modern mother for our Malayalam in addition to the ancient Father of Malayalam –Thunjath Ezhuthachan. These people are killing Music and Malayalam. Where are our Social Critics, Dr. Sukumar Azhikode and Prof. Sara Joseph?

Killing Coconuts Own Country

Look! This is the new Agricultural Policy of Kerala Government. Kerala Government is offering Rs. 500.00 per coconut tree for cutting down the tree and to make it extinct from the Coconuts Own Country. The farmers are very happy to cut down the trees as the Kerala coconuts are vanishing from the Kerala Markets. Government is encouraging the imports of coconuts from other countries to make Kerala nuts vanish from the global markets. The farmers now-a-days are not even harvesting the coconuts as the harvesting cost itself is not met from the sale of coconuts. At the same time coconuts and the related products from the global competitors are ruling the Kerala Markets.

Christian Taliban-ism

“He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” Revelation 13:10.

The above text is taken from the Holy Bible. The Christian Church has evidently ignored or ignited this text for sharpening up of their Christian Taliban-ism. The country as a whole and even his enemies has forgiven Prof. T.J. Joseph, the New Man College professor, Kerala. At the same time the country as a whole and even the executive judiciary has questioned the Christian spirit and even the basic  human spirit of those involved in the Abhaya Case. But the Christians regaining their black spirit of inquisition renamed as Christain Taliban-ism dismissed this Professor from service. As the professor remarked that his other arm is chopped by the Christians through this pagan ideology. The only thing left for the Christian authorities is to change the name of the New Man College as Old Man College of the dark inquisition ages.

The fight is going on in the SNDP kingdom

The fight is going on in the SNDP kingdom between two personal material ideologies which can be termed as Natesa matham and Gokula matham.  It is so shameful to all the devotees of the Poojya Sree Narayan Guru who preached the ideology of nothingness and the real glory of people on earth. The contestants therefore should go through the 46th sloka of Athmopadesasathakam of the great Guru. They should also lend their ears to the glorious speech of Guru at the All Religious Conference at Aluva, where Guru said, “No religious values could be winning by arguments, because values are affirmed on one’s faith. The debates of religious values are not for raising arguments to win. They are for to inform and be informed."

Is Kavya loosing or gaining Spring.

No doubt Kavya will be back with flying colours. The right step is always after a wrong step. Now it is the turn of a bold and beautiful artist to weave new rainbows in the sky. The power of an artist lies in the artist itself and never be in those who try to share or establish the art which is not theirs. So the power of Kavya will be empowered within her self very soon.

Coconut axed by Globalization.

Today is World Coconut Day. The favorite coconut and its allied products are being axed by the global forces of Globalization for the last two decades. The ever-beloved coconut is defamed as a villain that disseminates cancer to the humanity by the multi national companies that grab the market share of edible oil. The governments either central or state are continuing their negative approach towards this product. The farmers in this sector are not even harvesting this product as the harvesting cost itself will not be met with the selling price of the product. So while celebrating World Coconut Day, the governments are to be alert on the gravity of this issue which is not at all related to a product but that affects a farming community all over the world.
